Rubber Pad Presses

Rubberpad forming presses are a variety of deep-drawing hydraulic presses implement rubber forming sheet material and a mould. Rubber pad forming carries out forming of sheet materials by making use of one or more moulds and dies along with a rubber cushion as the second half of the die. The rubber cushion component of the die set is universal and only one rubber cushion is needed for many different shaping operations. The forming cycle deforms the sheet material over or into the product-specific die during which the rubber pad elastically displaces forming the material. Once the press cycle is complete the rubber springs back to its original shape leaving a formed shape from the material that was originally a material sheet.
