Bandsaw SN 420 MRM • Manual • 228mm Round Capacity • Dual-Mitre • 3-Phase

Product Code: 7.197.02.74

Description

The Pedrazzoli model SN 420 MRM bandsaw cutting machine is manufactured with cast iron components, creating a robust structure that reduces noise and vibrations during the cutting cycle. The powerful motor is mounted vertically, reducing front-to-back dimensions, and it drives the blade with an oil-bathed worm gear based gearbox with a 1:40 ratio. The saw bow is mounted on a large circular support base sustaining saw head rigidity during the cutting cycle, which enhances cutting precision and perpendicularity. The band saw bow quickly and smoothly rotates left and right while resting on a tempered ball track. An eccentric bushing key is used for 90° cuts and mechanical stops at 45° right & 45-60° left. Widia hard metal plaques with bearings on eccentric bushings are used, and a blade tightening device to ensure blade straightness during the cut. Flood coolant ports are located on the blade guides. A manual vice that is adjustable can be positioned lengthwise along the entire machine base, and it has quick-action clamping, an adjustment handwheel, and a flat adjustable gib plate. The main control panel is easily accessible with a power mains switch, cutting speed selector, cutting mode selector, and an E-Stop. The bandsaw cutting system operates on low voltage and the saw bow is moved on support with conical bearings.

This saw is CE Certified. All sales and services are UK based from our location in Warwickshire.

    Bandsaws

Metal Band Saws or Bandsaws are a critical component of all manufacturing facilities, machine shops, workshops, maintenance shops, precision engineering facilities, and more.  Bandsaws can be used to cut a wide variety of materials such as wood and meat but WorkshopPress.co.uk only offers the best quality saws designed for industrial metal-cutting.  Some primary examples of uses of a band saw are for cutting to size structural steel, bar stock, tubes, pipes, and RSJ material, and beams and they can cut bundles and complicated profiles and shapes.  Many engineers will saw a band saw is not as accurate as a circular saw but for 98% of the applications in fabrication and manufacturing a band saw provides more than sufficient accuracy during the cutting process and the accuracy is facilitated by the top quality design and build quality offered with the band saws in WorkshopPress.co.uk bandsaws.

CE Certified with a 2-year warranty.

All Scantool Bandsaws are Manufactured according to CE regulations and come with a 2-Year Warranty supported by WorksshopPress.co.uk technical sales and service from Warwickshire.
