Product Code: BPP2000-Broaching Press - 15 tonThis 15 ton press is very similar to our other workshop presses except it is fitted with an extra long cylinder which facilitates a linear broaching process. The piston stroke is 600 mm and the hydraulic press includes a hand operated up/down valve for the movement of the piston, a pressure control valve and a speed control valve.
Like our workshop presses this broaching press is operated with a joystick and has 2 speeds controlled with an easy to use lever directly on the hydraulic control unit. A pressure regulation gauge is clearly displayed on the front of the machine for easy control of the linear broaching operations.
Broaching is a metalworking process using a tool with progressive teeth and tool itself is called a broach. With linear broaching the broach tool runs in a linear direction against the surface of a workpiece where a key slot is to be cut.
